About the workshop
Join me for a 2.5 hrs brush pen calligraphy workshop where you will learn the essentials of modern calligraphy using a brush pen to create your own unique hand lettered greeting cards and gift tags. 
 
You'll start by learning the essentials to get you started with modern calligraphy :
how to use a brush pen,
the basic strokes used to form letters,
practising writing the alphabet,
joining letters to form words, 
practising writing words and phrases on greeting card templates.
Using the technique you've learned, you will then write your own greeting card and gift tag. 
 
All materials are provided and include the following:
workbook with practice sheets, 
templates and guidelines
1 black brush pen (small nib)
blank card an envelope Kraft gift tag.
There will be different size and colours brush pens to try on as well. 
 
No experience in calligraphy needed. The class is suitable for (adult) beginners as you will be guided through to the essentials of modern calligraphy with demonstrations. I will also provide you with one-to-one guidance.All materials are provided and for you to keep to continue your practice at home.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and it doesn't require neat handwriting or drawing skills.
