About the workshop
Want to learn modern calligraphy and write your own unique home decor print?
Join me for 2.5 hours of  modern calligraphy using a brush pen and learning blending techniques. 
 
Calligraphy is the perfect way to get yourself back into the present moment, away from mental chatter.  Calligraphy requires a deep focus and slow movements to place the right amount of pressure to obtain the thick and thin strokes forming each letters.
No calligraphy experience necessary for this workshop, you will learn everything to get you started on your calligraphy journey. 
 
You will learn:
-which pen(s) to use
- how to hold the pen and set up space for comfort,
-the basic strokes that form letters,
-practise writing the alphabet,
-how to join letters to form words,
-practise writing phrases 
- how to blend colours and create an gradient effect before moving onto your final project writing your very own text/quote for a wall art print/mini banner.
 
All materials are provided (workbook, brush pen, blank cards/mini banner) which you will take home to continue practising your new skill. Coffee/Tea and a cake from The Old Barn is also included.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and it doesn't require neat handwriting or drawing skills.
