Hello 2026!

As we step into a fresh year, I’d like to wish you all the very best for the months ahead. I hope 2026 brings you good health, joyful moments, and time for creativity, enjoying making things by hand.

With the start of the new year also comes an exciting new chapter for Crafty nib, and I wanted to share a few changes with you.

A new focus

Going forward, I will be focusing more on teaching calligraphy and supporting your learning journey. This means more time spent running workshops and creating resources that you can use at home, at your own pace.

In my online shop, I’ll be adding a growing collection of calligraphy printable resources, including:

• Seasonal worksheets

• Mindfulness calligraphy practice sheets

• Trace-over greeting card templates

• Bookmarks

• Colouring sheets

• Seamless patterns

• And more…

These will all be available as instant downloads via my website, making it easy for you to practice whenever suits you.

Closing my physical product shop (with a big sale)

As my focus shifts towards teaching and digital learning resources, I’ll be slowly closing my physical product shop. This decision was not taken slightly. In all honesty, 2025 hasn't been a good year sales wise. The last market I did, although hopeful it would be a success as it was in a popular venue in Edinburgh, I barely covered the table fee. Adding to that the constant increase in postage fees, not to mention Royal Mail reduced deliveries for 2nd class...it made me feel discouraged and I started doubting in my products, and in myself. I had 10 days holidays from my part-time job at the library, and took some time to rest, take a look at my offerings, met with friends and had a chat with customers, which made me regain confidence in what I do - which is of great quality and originality. Yet it is not viable to continue as it is and I've decided to focus on my passion for sharing knowledge, providing you with the tools, skills and confidence to progress in your calligraphy journey.
